CUBMASTER CORNER

Our  Spring campout was a great success again. Everyone had a great time with great weather. Thanks to Julie and Martha for making the yard dice game for all the scouts.

SPRING CAMPOUT

May 14-16 was our Spring Campout at Philipo Scout Reservation in Cannon Falls. This year we were at the Raddison shelter on the upper level.  A great place to camp back in the pines.  The only drawback was that the camp had just planted grass seen so we couldn’t park in the lot closest to the shelter. The scouts had lots of fun with the outdoor dice game. We took a couple of shorter hikes to make up for last years hike. Who can forget last years “HIKE”. We have the same shelter reserved for next year.

NEXT PACK MEETING

Next pack meeting will be in Sept. 9^th at the school. We normally take the summer months away from Pack Meetings so as the scouts can spend vacation time with their families.

Spring Campout & Graduation for 2011; May 13-15 at Philipo Scout Reservation, Radisson Shelter Cannon Falls

REMEMBER TO WEAR YOUR UNIFORM TO AND FROM ALL CAMPOUTS!

All Scouts and Leaders please remember to WEAR YOUR UNIFORM at any Scout function.  Cub Scouts when you are at a Boy Scout meeting, function or Court of Honor remember to WEAR YOUR UNIFORM!  Boy Scouts, when you are at a Cub Scout Pack Meeting, Den Meeting or Event please remember to WEAR YOUR UNIFORM!

 

 

NEW SCOUTS, NEW SCOUTS, NEW SCOUTS!!!

Please help spread the word that Pack 70 is actively seeking new scouts to join the pack!  We have fliers printed up for the scouts to hand out to their buddies. If you need any materials or information for posting or distributing or if you have any ideas for recruiting new scouts, please contact Cubmaster Al.

 

NEXT COMMITTEE MEETING

Monday, August 30^th  , 2010 at 7 p.m. in the St. Columba auditorium.  The Den leader and/or assistant from each den must attend.  All parents and adult scouting partners are welcome and encouraged to attend.  If you have questions, please contact Al Madison.
